Official standard document for Index.Film and IAISA use — IAISA · International AI Audiovisual Asset Indexing Standards Alliance — V6 · OFFICIAL USE

01

System Definition

Index.Film gives AI-native audiovisual assets a formal public identity layer. The system is maintained by IAISA and establishes public records for AI films, workflows, character IP, worlds and production assets. The objective is simple: make each asset registrable, reviewable, resolvable, AI-readable and market-ready.

  • IAISA

Maintains the IXF Standard and the governance framework for AI-native audiovisual asset indexing.

  • IXF Standard

Defines Root ID rules, resolver URLs, metadata schemas, endpoints, registrar APIs and Agent Request actions.

  • Index.Film Registry

Hosts public records, AI-readable endpoints and market-ready metadata at index.film/{code}.

  • Accredited Registrars

Approved partners that register assets and integrate Index.Film data services into their own systems.

Readers should understand Index.Film as an official standard and public resolver, not as an event brand, campaign identity or promotional brochure.

02

Core Value

The value of the standard is operational trust.
  • Registrable

Each asset receives a unique Public Code, Root ID and public index page.

  • Reviewable

Asset data, rights declarations, AI usage disclosures and version updates enter a structured review record.

  • Resolvable

index.film/{code} provides a stable public resolver for visitors, buyers, systems and agents.

  • AI-readable

Machine-readable endpoints expose index, schema, rights, ASK, actions and credential data.

  • Market-ready

Market fields, Buyer Intent, Agent Request actions and permissioned access support professional discovery workflows.

Index.Film does not replace creative authorship or existing identifiers. It adds an AI-native asset layer for identity, evidence, machine access and market action.

03

Namespace, Public URL & Root ID

The public URL stays short. The technical identity remains complete. A Public Code is optimized for public circulation. Root ID and Machine URN preserve the asset type, year and interoperability logic required by systems.

  • Public Code

Service Model

Every record progresses through defined index states. The model is based on one asset, one index page, four states and progressive unlocking. Every formal record is hosted on index.film/{code}.

  • FREE · Submitted Record

Asset data enters the system before a formal public index page is created.

  • BASIC · Stable Index

INDEX URL, INDEX PAGE, Root ID, basic AI-readable data and credential.

  • PRO · Active Index

Adds INDEX ASK, Q&A, keywords and buyer-facing explanations.

  • PLATINUM · Intelligent Index

Adds Market Signal, Buyer Intent and Agent Request endpoints.

  • INDEX URL

Basic, Pro and Platinum records all receive stable public URLs.

  • INDEX PAGE

Submitted, stable, active and intelligent states describe record maturity.

  • AI Data

Basic endpoints expand into enhanced and agent-ready endpoints.

  • INDEX ASK

Pro publishes Q&A. Platinum adds smart signals.

  • Market readiness

Eligibility advances toward verified-ready market usage.

05

Four Asset Classes

The standard covers the asset types behind AI-native audiovisual production.

  • AIF · AI Film

AI films, shorts, features, music videos, commercials, animation and experimental screen works.

  • WF · Workflow

Production workflows, node graphs, templates, toolchains, prompt chains, parameters and output specifications.

  • IP · Character & IP

Characters, virtual performers, story IP, personas, brand characters and licensing assets.

  • WLD · World

World-building systems, World Bibles, virtual cities, scene systems and asset packages.

All asset classes share a common index spine, then extend with fields suited to their production, rights and market logic.

INDEX ASK Specification

INDEX ASK turns the public page into a confirmed answer layer. INDEX ASK is generated in the owner backend, confirmed by the asset holder and published to the public record for visitors, buyers, search engines and external AI systems.

  • 01 Select intent

The holder chooses a discovery intent such as distribution, brand collaboration, technology showcase or IP licensing.

  • 02 AI drafting

The system generates AI summary, Q&A, keywords, buyer questions and media questions.

  • 03 Owner confirmation

The holder edits, removes and confirms content. Unconfirmed content is not published.

  • 04 Publication

Confirmed content is written into the public index page and ask.json / keywords.json / FAQ schema.

The ASK layer is not uncontrolled AI output. It is a published, holder-confirmed content layer.

10.1 INDEX ASK Content Layers

ASK separates summary, buyer understanding and machine readability.

  • AI Summary

One asset core statement plus multilingual short summaries.

  • Standard Q&A

Buyer questions, media questions, distribution questions and brand collaboration questions.

  • Keyword Layer

Genre, style, scene, license, Market Intent and AI usage keywords.

  • Buyer Summary

Helps buyers assess whether an asset fits acquisition or collaboration needs.

  • AI-readable

    ask.json, keywords.json and FAQ schema.

  • Update Rhythm

Quarterly updates; maintained while Pro remains active.

11
