With a limited budget, should I enter a festival first or seek distribution or creator support?

Start with your purpose: jury recognition, audience exchange, ongoing creative support or a specific licensing discussion. HKAIIFF 2027 costs US$99 per work; allow for subtitles, translation and necessary delivery. Entry does not guarantee an award, screening or recovery of costs. Explore MCN for ongoing collaboration or Hong Kong AI Film Market for buyer and licensing needs; each has separate conditions.
