About the association
Hong Kong AI International Film Festival Association is a non-profit organization registered with the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on December 31, 2024. As the supreme governance and operational entity of the Hong Kong AI International Film Festival (HKAIIFF), the Association is responsible for festival jury evaluation, industry standard setting, academic curriculum development, and ecosystem implementation.
Anchored in Hong Kong’s dual strategic positioning as the “East-West Cultural and Artistic Exchange Center” and “International Innovation Technology Center”, the Association advances the deep cross-disciplinary integration of generative AI (GenAI) technology with cinematic art. Leveraging Hong Kong’s unique advantages in international finance and technology innovation, we build a world-leading “AI-Native” film ecosystem for global digital content creators — establishing the global benchmark for AI cinema evaluation, reshaping the worldwide film industry in the intelligent era, and forging a new path for Chinese culture going global.
